Director of the Center of Excellence for OSINT participated at Intelligence College in Europe seminar (ICE) in Budapest
On April 16, 2024, Dr. Tomislav Dokman, Director of the Center of Excellence for OSINT (CoE OSINT), gave a presentation on the establishment and operation of the Centre at Intelligence College in Europe seminar (ICE) in Budapest.
On April 16, 2024, Dr. Tomislav Dokman, Director of the Center of Excellence for OSINT (CoE OSINT), gave a presentation on the establishment and operation of the Centre, first international institution of this type, within the scope of the Intelligence College in Europe (ICE) platform, which took place in Budapest, Hungary from April 16-18. The Director presented to the audience the reasons for the Centre’s establishment, its goals, and the CoE’s mission and vision.Within the framework of the seminar, Director Dokman met with the Director of ICE François Fischer. During the meeting, issues of future cooperation between the two international institutions were discussed, which focus on the transfer of specific knowledge and the implementation of educational programs for member states within the framework of the security and intelligence community in order to increase common knowledge, ensure interoperability, and develop a common European security culture and resilience.
The Intelligence College in Europe is an institution based in Paris, France, which brings together the security and intelligence communities of European countries, national and European decision-makers, and the academic community. The ICE currently has 25 European member states and 6 partner states. As part of its activities, the ICE develops a network of scientists with the aim of strengthening cooperation and dialogue between European security and intelligence agencies and the academic community, as well as national and European decision-makers.
