Director

Dr Tomislav Dokman started his professional career in 2006 when he joined the Croatian Armed Forces where he worked in International Military Cooperation. In 2010 he left the Croatian Army and joined the Croatian Security and Intelligence Agency where he remained until 2023, holding positions in Operations and Analytics. 

In August 2023 he was appointed to the position of the Acting Director of the Centre of Excellence for OSINT and from January 2024 he is the Director of the Centre.

He received his doctorate at the Department of Information and Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science at the University of Zagreb in 2021 when he defended his thesis „Analytical Framework of Open Source Intelligence in Counterterrorism“. 
He participated in numerous domestic and international scientific and expert conferences and is the author of several scientific and expert papers in the field of Intelligence Studies. 
In 2022 he published the book entitled “Open Source Intelligence and Counterterrorism” (with Croatian translation). In his research, Dr Dokman has focused on issues related to Open Source Intelligence, Intelligence, Intelligence Analysis, Counterterrorism and Securitisation. 

He has been a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Croatian Military Studies and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science at the University of Zagreb. He has taught several subjects: „Intelligence Analysis“ and „Sociology of Business Decision Making“.
